모세의 시체를 놓고 악마와 다투면서 논쟁을 할 때에
차마 모욕적인 말로 단죄하지 못하고

"주님께서 너를 꾸짖으시기를 바란다" 이렇게만 말하였습니다.

사람들은 무엇이든지
자기들이 깨닫지 못하는 것은 욕합니다.

그들은 이성이 없는 짐승들처럼,

본능으로 아는 것 바로 그 일로 멸망합니다.
