3. 식사 전 감사 기도: 식사 전 짧은 시간을 내어 음식과 이를 준비한 모든 이들에게 감사하는 기도를 드립니다.

2. Story in Food: Recalling the origin of food ingredients and the story in the recipe, I am grateful for the wisdom and hard work of my ancestors.
3. Pray for thanks before meals: I would like to take a short time before meals to thank the food and everyone who prepared it.
4. Right posture and attitude: Maintain the right posture during meals, focus on food, and slowly savor with gratitude.
5. Sharing food: Rather than eating alone, sharing food with family, friends, and neighbors and sharing affection.
6. Don't leave any food: cherish food and try not to leave enough food.
7. Organize after meals: After meals, clean up the tableware used, organize the surroundings, and prepare for the next meal.

These seven norms will help us practice gratitude and love through food and create a healthy and happy life, based on traditional Korean eating etiquette and spirit.

7 Benefits Of Offering Food To God Before Eating

A beautiful habit that we can have in our spiritual lives, is cooking all meals in God’s meditative remembrance. Also, at least one main cooked meal in a day (or more) along with fresh fruits, drinking water and anything else made fresh in your kitchen can be offered to God together. Meditation for 10-15 minutes in the way as we have explained in our earlier messages can be done, but along with connecting with God, we need to radiate His vibrations of purity and love to the food in front of us, which is kept in special boxes and the boxes are kept in a special plate, both of which can be used specially only for this purpose everyday and also washed everyday after this practice. The entire plate with the boxes can be covered with a pure and neat white cloth, which is also used only for this purpose. A meditation musical tune or spiritual song, which reminds us of God, can be played in the background. The following are 7 benefits of this pure and beautiful everyday practice –

1. Increases our chart of remembrance of God.

2. Purifies the food we eat and as a result purifies the soul, subtle body as well as the physical body when we eat the purified food full of God’s vibrations.

3. Develops in us the habit of expressing gratitude to God, in whose remembrance we have cooked the food and to the physical elements, of which the food is made.

4. Develops the habit of eating slowly and consciously in us, as we remember God while eating the food also.

5. Our physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual health improves as we become more spiritually vibrant and full of peace, love and joy.

6. Deepens our relationship with God and brings us closer to Him. Increases our love for Him.

7. Brings others also closer to God and helps them experience His purity and love when we serve food filled with God’s vibrations to them.
