THE GREAT WHITE BROTHERHOOD

Every Virtue that man prides himself on possessing is an indissoluble part of Divine Nature, and he feels it is his because the contemplation of this indivisible cosmic nature is very difficult for him.

The Love of the Great Universal Omnipresence envelops everything, completely filling the Universe; and there is no space where Love is not manifested.

When the individual in his study of the Higher Laws finds that he has reached a certain point on the Path of Evolution, surprisingly, the Deity ceases to be an Abstract Principle as taught by some metaphysicians. Instead, he comes into direct contact with certain Cosmic Beings who, through individual merit, have been given the responsibility of helping the evolution of the Universe. These Beings are the Ascended Masters of Love and Wisdom, who form the Order known as the Great White Brotherhood.

Only through the voluntary dedication of qualified life does one become an honorary member of this great Order, whose purpose and service in the scheme of evolution is to teach man how to create and sustain perfection. When an Intelligence voluntarily offers to contribute its daily gift of life to help in the evolution of the entire Plan, such a being is accepted by the Brotherhood and becomes part of it.
