들을 귀 있는 자는 들으라
어느 날 예수께서는 우리에게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “단식하는 데 시간을 낭비하지 마십시오. 그렇게 하면 영적 파멸을 가져오게 됩니다. 기도하는 데 시간을 낭비하지 마십시오. 그렇게 하면 스스로 지옥을 짓게 되기 때문입니다.
당신의 영혼에 해를 끼칠 것이기 때문에 자선을 삼가십시오."
우리 중 많은 사람들이 이해하지 못했습니다. 예수께서는 거의 웃으시면서 이렇게 덧붙이셨습니다. "살찐 사람이라고 일컬어지는 마태오여, 당신의 불균형한 탐욕이 당신에게 얼마나 큰 파멸이었는지 잘 알고 있습니다. 금식도 똑같이 불균형합니다." 우리는 이렇게 대답했습니다. “우리는 이것을 이해했습니다. 그런데 왜 기도가 우리에게 해를 끼치나요?”
예수께서는 우리에게 “어떻게 기도합니까?”라고 물으셨습니다.
우리는 “주님, 우리에게 자비를 베푸소서!”라고 말합니다.
아버지가 잔인하다고 생각하시나요? 그리고 또 무슨 말을 합니까?
우리는 “주님, 이것을 갖게 하시고 저것을 허락해 주십시오”라고 말합니다.
이것은 불의입니다! 그렇지 않기 때문에 기도해야 합니다.
그러면 어떻게요?
침묵을 유지하고 당신 안에서 말하는 침묵의 목소리, 살아있는 생각, 창조하고 반복하지 않는 참된 기도에 귀를 기울임으로써 당신에게 들어오고 순수해집니다.
들어가는 것이 너희를 더럽히는 것이 아니라 나가는 것이 너희를 더럽히느니라.
자선은 어떻습니까?
당신이 자신에게 주는 것을 자선이라고 부르나요?
그리고 여러분이 자선이라고 부르는 것은 잠자는 양심이 계속해서 평화롭게 잠을 잘 수 있도록 기꺼이 지불하는 작은 헌금에 지나지 않습니다!
– 그런 다음 예수님은 이렇게 덧붙였습니다.
“들을 귀 있는 자는 들으라.”
우리 중 많은 사람들이 이해하지 못했습니다.
예수께서는 미소를 지으며 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다.
성령은 완전하시다. 구제가 필요한 세상이 완전하다고 생각하느냐?”
아니요. 불공평한 세상이에요.
자선은 이러한 불의한 상황을 안정시킵니다.
그렇다면 불행하게도 불의한 이 세상에서 가난하고 배고픈 사람이 찾아오면 우리는 어떻게 해야 할까요?
당신이 자신에게 행했던 일을 그에게도 행하십시오.
당신의 의무를 수행하고 침묵 속에서 수행하십시오.

One day Jesus said to us, “Don't waste your time fasting. That will lead to spiritual destruction. Don't waste your time praying. Because that way, you will build hell on your own.
Avoid charity because it will harm your soul."
Many of us didn't understand. Jesus almost laughed and added, "Matthew, who is said to be a fat man, I know how much your unbalanced greed was ruin to you. Fasting is equally unbalanced." We said, “We understood this. But why does prayer harm us?
Jesus told us, “How do you pray?” and asked,
We said, “Lord, show us mercy!” and say,
Do you think your father is cruel? And what else are you saying?
We said, "Lord, let me have this and let me do that." and say,
This is injustice! That's not the case, so you have to pray.
Then how?
By keeping silent and listening to the voice of silence that speaks within you, living thoughts, and true prayers that do not create and repeat, you come into you and become pure.
Going in does not pollute you, but going out pollutes you.
How about charity?
Do you call what you give yourself charity?
And what you call charity is just a small donation that your sleeping conscience is willing to pay to keep you sleeping peacefully!
– Then Jesus added,
Listen to those who have ears.
Many of us didn't understand.
Jesus smiled and said,
The Holy Spirit is perfect. Do you think a world in need of relief is perfect?
No. It's an unfair world.
Charity stabilizes these injustices.
So what should we do if a poor and hungry person comes from an unfortunate world?
Do what you did to yourself to him, too.
Perform your duties and do in silence.
