One more day, and this journey with Venus into the Underworld comes to an end, and after 40 days and 40 nights of turning inward, she will be reborn in a new cycle, transforming from Evening Star to her new emergence as Morning Star once more.
this happens for 6 weeks every 18 months, and the Venus retrograde offers us an introspective journey to reexamine and reassess our values, so we may create the energetic shifts we need in our lives, stepping out of stagnation, and taking another step forward in our evolutionary process.
in today’s contemplating, we have the energies of the Goddess Freya coming through, for whom i’m grateful for her guardianship, for she holds the practice of magical workings Seiðr which includes the more shamanistic flow of the runes that we have been working with.
also, we work with Welsh goddess Arianrhod, Lady of the Silver Wheel, who is also known as a goddess of the liminal space, facilitating the rites of initiation, so we may cross over the threshold ofmoment of transition between What Was and What Will Be, the instant that potential is made manifest.
we also had the goddess of destruction Kali, bringing liberation, death and rebirth, which is really timely, given that we’re just about to come out of our retrograde cocoon. she also grants us transcendence over time, offering us an opportunity to step upon a new timeline, should we have received and integrated the lesson of this retrograde journey.
