고수레는 배달국(오랜 한국)전통의 풍습으로 기록역사를 공부하지 않은 나도 그 풍습을 따르던 행위였다. 그것은 그 사람의 주변에 화복을 주는 신을 존경하고 신이 안전하게 지켜 줄 것을 기원하는 행위이다. 고려시대 문헌에서도 ‘고수레’로 추측할 만한 행동들을 찾아볼 수 있다.
Horse carts are a custom from Baedalguk (an old Korean tradition), and even I, who did not study recorded history, followed that custom. It is an act of respecting the god who bestows happiness and blessings on those around the person and praying that the god will keep them safe. Actions that can be assumed to be ‘Gosure’ can also be found in Goryeo Dynasty literature.
