비너스의 장미
⚜️ 지구 중심의 관점에서 지구 중심적으로 플로팅하면 금성의 움직임에 매우 눈에 띄는 리듬이 있습니다. 8년 후 같은 날 같은 하늘의 같은 장소로 돌아온다. 이것은 Maya와 같은 고대 민족에게 알려졌고 큰 관심을 끌었으며 오늘날 많은 사람들은 그것을 유명한 금성 주기 또는 금성의 펜타그램으로 알고 있습니다.

Venus's Rose
⚜️ Plotting geocentrically from a geocentric perspective, there is a very noticeable rhythm to Venus' movement. Eight years later, it returns to the same place in the same sky on the same day. This was known and of great interest to ancient peoples such as the Maya, and today many people know it as the famous Venus Cycle or Pentagram of Venus.
Over the course of eight years, each phenomenon (each relative position of Earth, Venus, and the Sun) will occur five times and repeat five more or less identical times over the next eight years.
In the case of Venus, the tight loop inward is the inferior connection that Venus passes between us and the Sun. The wide swing is centered at the upper conjunction as Venus passes by the far side of the Sun. So the general pattern is (as mentioned by Anthony Barreiro):
… A lovely five petal rose.
The tight rings are the stamens of the rose, and the wide swings are the petals. 🌹
