바가바드 기타에서는 정욕, 분노, 탐욕이 지옥으로 가는 문이라고 말합니다. 이처럼 육체 의식(또는 라바나)의 영향 아래 있는 영혼은 람과 멀어졌고, 그 결과 스스로 지옥의 문을 열어 슬픔과 고통을 겪었습니다. '라바나'는 글자 그대로 '당신을 울게 만드는 자'라는 뜻입니다. 오늘날 감정적인 고통, 긴장, 슬픔의 근원인 다섯 가지 악덕의 사슬에 갇힌 모든 영혼(또는 시타)은 해방을 위해 람에게 울부짖고 있습니다.
람은 모든 영혼의 비물질적인 지고한 아버지 또는 신의 상징적인 이름 중 하나일 뿐입니다. 그분은 영원히 육체가 없으시고, 영혼 세계(샨티담)에 머무르며, 탄생과 환생의 순환에서 벗어나 끊임없이 평화롭고, 순수하며, 지복으로 가득 차 있고, 사랑이 넘치십니다. 사실 이 모든 비유는 칼리 유가(철기 시대) 말에 지고한 영혼 또는 신이 이 물리적인 세상에 강림하여 모든 시타들(고통받는 영혼들)을 슬픔에서 해방시키는 것과 관련이 있습니다. 그분의 신성한 약속에 따라, 지고한 존재는 영혼들이 불순한 쾌락과 욕망의 노예가 되고 그들의 의식이 육체 의식에 완전히 영향을 받는 인류 역사의 중요한 시기에 오십니다. 이 시기는 바로 지금 이 세상입니다. 그분은 순수한 영적 지식을 나누어 주심으로써 영적으로 약해진 영혼들을 변화시키고 형성하며, 그들의 지성을 정화하십니다. 그분은 영혼들이 자신들의 마음과 지성을 가장 높은 존재인 그분께 연결하고 영적으로 힘을 얻을 수 있도록 간단한 라자 요가 명상(라자 요가는 '왕'을 뜻하는 라자와 '연결'을 뜻하는 요가의 합성어로, 모든 연결의 왕이라는 의미)을 가르치십니다.
'데세라'라는 단어는 '다사-하라'에서 유래했습니다. '다사'는 '열'을 의미하고, '하라'는 '파괴하다'를 의미합니다. 우리가 영적인 지식의 화살로 우리 내면의 영적인 인격 속에 있는 열 개의 머리를 가진 라바나 악마를 죽이고, 지고한 존재와의 깊은 명상 또는 요가의 신성한 불로 그의 거대한 인형을 태울 때만이, 우리는 진정으로 데세라를 축하하고 영원한 기쁨을 경험할 수 있습니다.

In the Bhagwat Gita, it is said that lust, anger and greed are gates to hell. Thus, the soul under the influence of body consciousness or Ravan divorced itself from Ram, as a result of which it opened the gates of hell for itself and experienced sorrow and pain. Ravan literally means one who makes you cry. Today every soul or Sita trapped in the chains of the five vices, which are the roots of all emotional sufferings, tensions and sorrows; cries out to Ram for liberation.
Ram is just one of the symbolic names of the non-physical Supreme Father of all souls or God, who is eternally bodiless and stays in the soul world or Shantidham, free from the cycle of birth and rebirth and constantly peaceful, pure, blissful and loveful. The whole comparison, in fact, relates to the incarnation of the Supreme Soul or God at the end of Kaliyug (iron age) in the physical world to free all the Sitas from sorrow. According to His sacred promise, the Supreme Being comes at such an important time of human history when souls have become slaves to impure pleasures and desires and their consciousness has become completely influenced by body consciousness. This time is the present time in the world. He transforms and moulds spiritually weakened souls and purifies their intellects by sharing pure spiritual knowledge with them. He teaches them simple Rajyoga meditation (Rajyoga can be broken up into Raja + yoga which means king of all unions) by which the souls can connect their minds and intellects to Him, who is the Highest One and spiritually empower themselves.
The word Dussehra comes from the word Dasa-Hara, Dasa meaning Ten and Hara meaning destroy. Only when we kill the ten-headed demon of Ravan in our spiritual personality, with the arrow of spiritual knowledge and burn his huge effigy with the divine fire of intense meditation or yoga with the Supreme, only then can we truly celebrate Dussehra and experience permanent joy.
