At the heart of quantum mechanics is the Planck-Einstein relationship.[1] The Planck-Einstein energy-frequency relationship relates the energy of photons, quanta of light, to electromagnetic waves and their frequency speeds. Essentially, this formula quantifies the energetic properties of matter and their direct correlation with frequency and wavelength.
